Ghanaian attacker, Joseph Esso’s MC Alger takes on Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the quarter finals of the CAF Champions League tonight.
MC Alger will play at home at their favourite Stade 5 Juillet 1962 Stadium in Algiers. The former Algerian Champions will be hoping to take home advantage of the first leg before travelling to Morocco for the second leg.
The Algerian giants came second in group D behind Esperance of Tunis to qualify for the quarter finals of the competition.
Joseph Esso who made his debut in week 20 of the Algerian top flight against Bel Abbes is yet to play in the Champions League for his new side.
The former Dreams FC player is a notable absentee in CK Akonnor’s 30-man selection for the Black Stars.
