Former Ghana U-20 starman, Joseph Paintsil scored twice in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday evening for MKE Ankaragucu at Alanyaspor.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian international winger netted the first goal of the match after just three minutes as he latched onto Saba Lobzhanidze’s cross with his left foot into the top left corner.
On the 27th minute of the match, Paintsil bagged his brace when he finished this time with his right foot into the bottom right corner following another assist from Saba Lobzhanidze.
Salih Ucan reduced the deficit to one for the hosts on the 36th minutes before both teams headed to the dressing room.
After 53 minutes of play, Anastasios Bakasetas scored from a very tight and difficult angle to level matters for the home team before Khouma Babacar completed the turnaround to make it 3-2 to Alanyaspor.
Three minutes later, Fatih Aksoy scored at the wrong end of the field to make it 3-3 with 26 minutes left to play.
Twelve minutes to full time, Jacques François Muobandje scored the winner for the home team to snatch all three and break the visitors’ heart.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has played seventeenth times this campaign and has bagged seven goals in the Turkish Top-flight.
