Father of Medeama Sporting Club midfielder, Justice Blay, John Blay is confident his son will be donning the shirt of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the 2021/22 season.
Blay was pushing for a move back to the Porcupine Warriors having been with the club on loan before the interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the player looks set to return to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium next season on a permanent according to John Blay.
Speaking to Kumasi-based OTEC FM, the player’s father revealed: “I can say on record that my son (Justice Blay) will play for Kotoko next season because I asked Moses Packer and he told me that he has transferred my son to Kotoko which I have no problem about that.”
Blay was a strong engine for the Yellow and Mauve lads during the just ended season, courting interest from a whole lot of teams in Ghana and outside, and if the comments by his dad are anything to go by, the player could be a Porcupine before the start of a new season.
