From working and training in the difficult training camps and tough jungles, Justus Torsutey has managed to combine life as a soldier and a player in the Ghana Premier League for the West African Football Association (WAFA).
The young attacker who has shown extreme brilliance in his young carrier at the Sogakope based side has to juggle life on the battle field with the football pitch.
The ex-Might Jet player was recruited into the team following the departure of striker Daniel Lomotey to Algeria. Justus has been very clinical in front of goal scoring 5 goals from 8 matches since joining the club in the second half of the season.
In a report by GPLXpress the striker showed optimism in learning the club’s system and philosophy in order to make him successful “I will say is different because every team with its philosophy and its tradition, with WAFA’s their tradition and its philosophy is a different thing is a new system am learning and praying to just cope with it so quickly and is nice place and a nice family to join”
Justus Torsutsey also revealed how the military gives him the permission when the season starts to allow him concentrate on club football “football is a season so when the season starts for football, military will allow me, permission is being granted to my team for me to come and join them for training we call it camping…….”
The attacker is following in the foot steps of ex-Liberty captain who was also juggling life as a player and a policing. Majeed Ashimeru, Gideon Waja and Samuel Tetteh are great talents have come out of the club in recent times.
