Ghanaian forward Kamal Sowah was on target for Oud-Haverlee Leuven against Cercle Brugge on Saturday evening in the Belgium Pro League.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian prodigy scored his side’s first and opening goal of the match on the 10th minute mark to make it 1-0 to the hosts who started the game on a high note.
Few chances was created by both teams but none of them were able to score again as the first half ended 1-0 to OH Leuven.
Nine minutes into the second half of the match, Thomas Henry scored the second goal for the home team to put the hosts 2-0 up very early in the second half.
Twelve minutes to the end of the game, Mathieu Maertens was shown à straight red card after committing a horrible foul leaving the home team to play the remaining minutes with 10-men.
On the 90th minute mark, Ike Ugbo scored a consolation for Cercle Brugge who was the second best throughout the game as it ended 2-1 to Oud-Haverlee Leuven.
After playing in 14 league games this season in the Belgium Top-flight, the Leicester City man has scored six goals and provided three assists.
