Kamaldeen Sulemana is having a wonderful debut season at Stade Rennais in France and after 10 league matches , the 19-year old has put himself above the legendary Asamoahy Gyan in terms of maiden season at the Ligue 1 side.
The difference is huge. After 10 matches in the Ligue 1, Sulemana has 4 goals and 1 assist for Rennes so far in 597 minutes of football following his arrival from FC Nordsjaelland.
In comparison, Gyan scored just a goal in 16 league appearances in 614 minutes during his debut season at the same club in 2008/09.
Sulemana is a natural winger and spend majority of the time stationed on the flanks where he does his best job whilst Gyan played as center-forward. This makes the numbers of Sulemana even more outstanding.

Indeed it was during the next season – 2009/10 – that Gyan exploded in France scoring 13 league goals in the colors of Rennais and by the next summer Premier League side Sunderland came for his signature.
