Ghana international, Kamaldeen Sulemana was the hero on the night for Stade Rennais following his heroics in the game against Vitesse on Thursday.
Rennais played away to the Dutch side in match day two of the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League, having been held to a draw in their opening game.
The youngster came from the bench to seal victory for his side before later being reduced to 10 men.
The 19-year-old was named on the bench by manager Bruno Genesio for Thursday night’s encounter, opting for a 4-4-2 formation.
Vitesse took a one goal lead before half-time but were unable to hold unto the lead after the recess with Sehrou Guirassy and Kamaldeen scoring in the second 45 minutes to give Rennais all three points.
The Ligue 1 side are now leveled on points with Tottenham Hotspur, both teams with four points each.
