Karela United recorded an emphatic 2-0 home win over Medeama SC on Sunday during Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League with the goals coming from the in-form attacking duo of Diawisie Taylor and Kwame Boateng.
Karela continue to lead the league standings with 21 points – two points clear of Bechem United who are second on the table.
Taylor opened the scoring in the 62nd minute before Boateng – formerly of Asante Kotoko – added the second in the 75th as Karela made a big statement against one of the sides considered as credible title contenders this season.
The duo have now scored combined 14 goals this season. Taylor accounts for nine goals whilst Boateng has netted five times.
