Maxwell Boakye joined Karela United in February this year during the second transfer window of the season after excelling at Division One side Gold Stars and he is currently the biggest source of goals for the team coached by Evans Adottey.
Twelves goals and seven goals all season-long for Diawisie Taylor and Kwame Boateng respectively undoubtedly makes them the most important attackers of Karela United this season but at least in the last four games Taylor and Boateng have struggled to shake the net and that is where Boakye has stood up.

The former Hearts of Oak forward has two goals in his last two games for the club -finding the target against his former side and King Faisal FC.
Whilst Taylor continues to draw blank, Boakye has been there to provide some compensation as the team from Anyinase has gone five games without a win.
