Head of Communications for Nzema based Zylofon Cash Premier League side, Karela United, Eric Alagidede has quashed off widespread reports that the Nzema show boys will be playing friendly game with Asante Kotoko SC.
Early this week, Kotoko W/R sub circle chairman said Asante Kotoko will be engaging in a club friendly match with Karela United but Eric Alagidede says there is nothing on the pipeline presently .
“It is not true, as we speak, we have neither received nor written to them for a match”.
“However, the game can happen but not anytime now because the team will only start the pre-season training on tomorrow, Wednesday”, he added.
He continued that, despite his side not in talk for friendly against Kotoko SC, they are commencing training for any tournament.
“We are ever ready to partake in any invited tournament as far football is concern, if the GHALCA’s tournament time is due, we (Karela) will play”.
