Kayserispor President Berna Gozbasi says his outfit have had an official discussion with Besiktas over the transfer of Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah.
The in-form forward has so far scored five goals and provided eight assists for Kayserispor in 23 league appearances.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are the two clubs battling for the signature of the former Atletico Madrid man in the ongoing summer transfer window.
However, club president, Berna Gozbasi has confirmed the interest from Besiktas over their prized asset following an official negotiation between both parties.
The female Turkish football administrator told Beyaz TV per Sporx:
“I am not talking to anybody until the end of the league. It is true that we only have a meeting with Beşiktaş Officially. I have not made a decision because the league is not over yet. “
Mensah whose contract with the Turkish side expires in 2022, is currently valued at 2.4 million Euros, according to transfermarket.
