Former Black Stars management committee member, Yaw Boateng Gyan has revealed that former AC Milan star Kevin Prince Boateng is ready for Black Stars if only CK Akonnor will hand him a call-up.
Boateng, 33, has not played for the West African African powerhouse since he was thrown out of the Black Stars camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
He was accused of insulting former coach Kwasi Appiah and also causing mayhem during the tournament.
Many have called on Ghana new coach CK Akonnor to bring back Boateng to the Black Stars team for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
According to Yaw Boateng Gyan, the AFC Fiorentina forward is ready to play for the country again but only if he will fit into the tactics of CK Akonnor.
“Kevin Prince Boateng is ready to play for the Black Stars if Coach CK Akonnor thinks he can fit into his tactics,” he told Elmina based Ahomka FM in Elmina.
Boateng Gyan was a Black Stars management committee member during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
