King Faisal goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad is optimistic about his team’s survival in the Ghana Premier League despite being among the teams in the relegation zone.
According to the on-loan Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC goalie, the Insha Allah Boys will survive the relegation scare and play in the 2021-22 season.
“Anyone who has followed King Faisal will agree that our performance in the second round has skyrocketed”, he told Opemsuo FM.
He also added that he as a player do not want to be seen as a player who sent a Premier League side to relegation.
“As a player, I don’t want my story to be scripted that I took a team to relegation. We will definitely survive”, he added.
King Faisal drew 1-1 against Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC in Obuasi last Saturday and remain in the relegation fight ahead of their match against Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs in Techiman on Sunday.
