Austrian Típico Bundesliga team WSG Swarovski Tirol manager, Thomas Silberberger has described Ghanaian defender Kofi Schulz as an asset for his team.
Speaking to the press after re-signing the experienced left-back, the manager was full of praise for the German-born Ghanaian versatile defender.
According to him, the 32-year-old brings a lot of experience to the club and for that matter he’s warmly welcomed at the club.
The coach did not also forget the moment the 32 year old scored a late winner for the club last season which helped them to book a place in the the championship playoffs.
“With Kofi Schulz, an old friend is coming to Wattens. Last year he lifted us into the championship group with his last-minute goal in Hartberg. For that reason alone, he is warmly welcome here”,he said.
“But regardless of that, he’s a very experienced player who will definitely play on the left side as we expect. He is an asset to our team”, added the coach.
