Kumasi King Faisal FC striker, Kwame Peprah is set to leave the club for a big money move in the ongoing transfer window, SportsworldGhana understands.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Anwar Sadat has hinted about the immenent move of the striker from the club to another team in the near future.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Wontumi FM, the CEO of the Insha Allah Boys stated; “Everyone knows the tradition of King Faisal because Last year, in the truncated league we had Osman Ibrahim and this time around we have Kwame Peprah then also, we have signed young and gifted attacker Isaac Frimpong and everyone should watch him as the replacement for Peprah should depart the club to join a new team and I can confidently tell you that Frimpong is the immediate successor”
He further revealed that that, due to the talent of the newly recruited Isaac Frimpong, the club president have found a new nickname for the player.
“My President, Alhaji Grusah describes Isaac Frimpong as diamond, gold. I personally scouted him and he is a good striker”
He added that, should the club agree a deal to sell their captain and marksman, the player will still remain at the club till the end of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
“Peprah will remain with the club until the end of the season but we are planning our life for the future so should in case he leave the club, there is a replacement.”
The 20-year-old Ghanaian striker has nine goals and five assists so far in the first round of the Ghana Premier League and has earned a call-up to the Black Stars camp ahead of the AFCON qualifiers games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe respectively.
