Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has named a 20-man squad for the return leg of their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club.
The Porcupine Warriors face an uphill task after a 1-0 defeat in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Wydad scoring in the second half to take a narrow lead. The return leg is scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca.
First-choice goalkeeper Mohammed Camara is unavailable after his red card in the first leg, so Aziz Haruna Dari and Benjamin Twum have been selected to guard the posts.
The defensive line includes Patrick Asiedu, Zackaria Fuseini, Francis Acquah, Samba O’Neil, and Joseph Amoah, while midfielders such as Lord Hillary Adabo, Gyau Hubert, Fuseini Walid Neymar, Amidu Peter, and Inusah Adams are expected to control the center of the park.
Up front, Kotoko will rely on Guinean forward Donzo Morifing and Amoah Albert to provide the attacking threat needed to overturn the deficit.
Coach Zito will be hoping for a strong and efficient performance from his team as they aim to keep their continental ambitions alive.
