Former National U-17 trainer, Paa Kwasi Fabian claims, he was denied access to travel by Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC after he resigned as head coach of the club.
The gaffer in the middle of September tendered in a resignation to the fabulous side amidst interest from an unknown South African club.
Despite serving 7-months on his contract at Kotoko, Fabin opted to part ways with the record winning Ghana Premier League side.
He signed one year contract with the side.
“Kotoko SC wrote to South African Embassy to deny me travelling visa,’’
‘’They also wrote to the South African Football Association that a South African club is stealing their Coach all in the bid to prevent me from securing a job in South Africa,” Fabin told Kumasi based Kessben FM.
According to Fabian, he detailed all information linked to the South African club interest in him to the Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei in a meeting after his resignation.
“I explained everything about my dealings with the South African club to Dr. Kwame Kyei when I met him”.
“I did not hide anything from him”, he added.
