Asante Kotoko hammered Bechem United by 4-0 in an outstanding Ghana Premier League match on Wednesday at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium to blow the title race wide open now.
Goals from Ismail Ganiyu, Fabio Gama, Andy Kumi Francis and Michael Vinicius won the game for comfortably for the Porcupine Warriors.
The win takes Kotoko to 3rd place on the league table with 31 points. Olympics still lead the table with 33 points. Karela United are second on 31 points and Hearts of Oak make the top 4 with 30 points. It is really getting interesting and close at the top.
All 18 clubs in the league have now completed 18 games and Week 19 is just ahead.
