Asante Kotoko ready promised to sign midfielder Justice Blay from Medeama to revamp their squad ahead of their African campaign.
Board member Joseph Yaw Adu leads the team currently in negotiations with the fellow Premier League side Medeama SC to sign midfield jewel Justice Blay permanently following the expiration of his loan deal.
Oyerepa FM Sports report that a board member has volunteered to pay the cost that will come with keeping the highly rated midfielder.
Justice Blay has returned to his parent club Medeama SC and the Porcupine Warriors who will represent Ghana in 2020/21 Caf Champions League are hoping to reach a deal with the Tarkwa-based club to sign Blay who became the fans favourite for the African inter-club competition.
Mr Joseph Yaw Adu is expected to start work Tuesday 7th July 2020 and will liaise between the board and the Secretariat with the help of Evelyn Nsiah Asare (Mrs).
Meanwhile, another board member has promised to construct an Ultra-modern astroturf for the club at Adako Jachie.
