Asante Kotoko head Coach, Kjetil Zachariassen, has urged the club’s fans to be patient with misfiring striker George Abege.
Abege, from Uganda, is beginning to feel the heat after failing to replicate his fine from with ex-club Kariobangi Shark at Kotoko.
The lanky striker was not at his best quality for the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday in their Caf Champions League 2-0 win over Tunisian giants Etoile Du Sahel as fan of the great club are beginning to lose trust in the club’s recording signing striker.
Augustine Okrah and Richard Arthur scored a goal each to ensure Kotoko defeated Etoile Du Sahel in the crunch fixture.
Nonetheless, the Norwegian tactician says all that Abege needs is time and he will soon start scoring goals for Asante Kotoko.
”Speaking at the game on Sunday, Kjetil Zachariassen said ”George Abege has improved so much from the time he joined the club to what we see today,”
”All he needs now is time and he will start scoring goals,” concluded the former AshantiGold SC trainer.
