Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has tasked his players to be more “hungry” and always go for the kill.
The veteran Portuguese trainer who watched his club game with Eleven Wonders from the stands was not impressed as he wants them to be ruthless and go all out in games.
“If we don’t fight, if we don’t show warrior instinct, the killer instinct, it would be difficult because for other clubs, the biggest target is to beat the champions.” Barreto stated ahead of the game with Bechem United on Wednesday
“It happens not only in Ghana, we have to know that and the players must feel and not forget.” He added.
Barreto could be on the bench today for his first league game as according to close sources, his work permit is ready.
