Asante Kotoko drew 1-1 against Techiman Eleven Wonders during Week 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors scored first but the home team equalized to represent the fifth time that The Reds have taken a lead into a game but failed to win at full time.
Kotoko scored first through Kwame Opoku against the same opponent on opening match of the season at the Accra sports stadium but Wonders equalized thanks to a late goal by substitute Prince Okraku.
Against Berekum Chelsea in Berekum Opoku shot the team of Maxwell Konadu ahead after 19 minutes but Emmanuel Clottey scored from a freekick at stoppage time to claim a point for the home team.
The trend continued in the CAF Champions League as Kotoko drew 1-1 in Mauritania against FC Nouadhibou. Osman Ibrahim scored the first goal at half time before the home side equalized from the spot.
In the Medeama 1-1 draw it was the same trend as Kotoko failed to win after taking the lead.
