Management team member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Dankwah, has enumerated a list of training programs, ahead of their anticipated meeting with the Kariobangi Sharks of Kenya, in the second round of the Caf Confederations Cup preliminaries.
Kariobangi Sharks won their first leg encounter against Arta Solar of Djibouti in a 6-1 mulling at the Kenyatta Sports Stadium in Kenya.
In view of this, the African Club of the Century, anticipating a likely meeting with such a free scoring side, have scheduled to play on Monday,Abusua Dwarfs, at the newly refurbished Accra Sports Stadium.
The team will then move to Tema and engage Inter Allies FC, at the Tema sports stadium on Thursday.
Speaking on Vision One FM, the current Greater Accra Regional Circle Chairman of the club, explained that, although these matches form part of the clubs robust preparations, it also affords a unique opportunity to showcase the team and it’s readiness for Africa, to the teeming fans in the Greater Accra region.
The porcupine warriors had a walk over in the first round of the Caf Confederations Cup preliminaries, after the Cameroonian Football Association failed to submit a participating club before CAF’s deadline.
