San Pedro and Ivorian U23 goalkeeper, Eliezer Ira Tape is earmarked as a possible replacement for Felix Annan in case he leaves the club according to Kumasi-based Fox FM.
Annan lost his first team place at the club after taking some days off duty to complete his wedding ceremony with Maxwell Konadu installing Kwame Baah as the new Kotoko number one.
The long-serving Annan started in the FA Cup game against Asokwa Deportivo but Kotoko lost by 2-1 and now reports are that the former WAFA goalkeeper is planning to leave Kumasi.
Also the Reds are considering a transfer for Burkina Faso national team goalkeeper Baba Toure Aboubakar Sawadogo.
Ira Tape was in post when San Pedro eliminated Asante Kotoko from last season’s CAF Confederation Cup. He was also the first choice goalkeeper for the Ivory Coas during the U23 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt last year.
