Former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Jarvis Peprah has lauded the sacking of Croatian trainer Zdravko Lugarusic, saying management took the right decision at the right time.
Jarvish indicates Luga is to be blamed for his exit following the club’s recent poor performance in the Ghana Premier League despite occupying the second spot on the log.
“I’m very happy with Lugarusic’s sack and I think it’s a timely intervention for the club. The team hasn’t been playing well and all boils down to the tactics of the coach,” Peprah told Accra based Happy FM.
“In fact, you could see clearly from yesterday’s game that we didn’t have a good coach. Our striker [Yakubu] was caught off-side on several times and the coach did nothing about it and Christopher Bonney was marauding the left flank of Kotoko’s defense at will and the coach did nothing to salvage the situation.” He added.
Dzravo Logarusic was fired by Kotoko on Sunday, April 9 after the Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by Ebusua Dwarfs in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
