Former Ghana international, Malik Jabir has asked Kumasi Asante Kotoko to take a cue from the claims being made by coach Mariano Barreto.
Barreto has complained bitterly about a number of issues within the club including his recent bashing of the lack of facilities at the club.
However, Malik Jabir says the club need not to see the commenta made by the gaffer as an attack but rather use it as a guide to work on issues.
“I see nothing wrong with what Coach Mariano Barreto said about Kotoko.
“We shouldn’t take what Barreto is saying personally but rather we should accept it in good faith and work on it.
“The timing and the platforms he (Barreto) talked about Kotoko doesn’t matter.
“Coming out to tell Ghanaians the truth, there’s no time in it and am applauding him for telling the truth and it is a wakeup call to Kotoko to improve on their mistakes and work on the team,” Malik Jabir told Ashh FM.
Kotoko finished the 2020/21 league season in second position, losing out to winners Accra Hearts of Oak, while also missing out on a place in the FA Cup final.
