Aspiring Asante Kotoko National Circles Council’s chairman Christopher Demenya, has stated in his manifesto that he will ensure Circles membership both in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and the Brong Ahafo Region is increased by 50% in his first year in office when handed the mandate to serve as the National Circles chief.
According to him, the Circles are the club’s strongest fan base and therefore ensuring that the membership increases magnificently will be his topmost priority when he assumes the enviable position.
The business mogul who has on several occasions supported the club and its supporters financially, is hoping to beat competition from former deputy communications manager of the club Solomon Ofosu Ware to become the new NCC chairman.
A portion of his manifesto spotted by SportsworldGhana.com, talks about how he intends to increase the Circles membership reads ”One (1) key target I have set myself is to ensure that the current three (3) regional circles councils namely ; Ashanti, Greater Accra and Brong Ahafo Regional Circles Councils would be increased by 50% . To sustain and strengthen membership drive efforts, I am going to work with the leadership of the various circles to establish new circles across the country,”
”However, efforts towards improving the resource base of our Circles start in the earnest in my first year of office. My team and I hope to achieve significantly by the third and fourth year of office.
”The strategies and measures adopted to achieve the Restoration Agenda are outlined in this manifesto,”’ DeChris added in his manifesto.
The elections is slatted for 16th November, 2019 in Kumasi.
