The powerful king imposed a transfer ban on the team of Maxwell Konadu for a least a season but SPORTSWorldGhana.com understands it will not apply to Justice Blay should the club reach an agreement with Medeama or decides to buy a replacement.
Otumfour Osei Tutu II placed the ban on Asante Kotoko in his bid to reduce waste of resources that hindered the progress of the club in the three-year period that Kwame Kyei was in charge.
The defensive midfielder has returned to parent club Medeama after spending a season on loan in Kumasi and the Porcupine Warriors are expected to complete his transfer.
Asante Kotoko has been selected to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions league next season.
