Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have released striker Richard Arthur ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Arthur joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year contract in 2019 following a short spell in Ethiopia with Saint Georges FC.
Our outfit can report that the dreaded striker has been declared surplus to requirements by head coach Maxwell Konadu as the Kumasi-based club re-build their squad under new management team led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The 26-year-old started only two games for Kotoko in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League before the season was truncated due to the Coronavirus crisis, has since been told to look for new club.
Meanwhile, Defenders Empem Dacosta and Evans Owusu are all reported have left the club ahead of the upcoming season which starts on Friday 30th October 2020.
