Giants Asante Kotoko are currently in talks to sign a top Ugandan attacker ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season, Communications Director of the club, Moses Antwi Benefo has said.
Maxwell Konadu’s side are set for a tough campaign next season where they will be playing in the CAF Champions League while also hoping to win the domestic league.
Despite the acquisitions of midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh and defender Yusif Mubarik, the club is now set to sign a striker from Uganda in bid to strengthen the club’s attacking machinery.
“We are expecting the arrival of a Ugandan striker for our next season’s campaign”, the club’s communications director Moses Antwi Benefo has told Oyerepa FM.
He added, “We are also expecting the arrival of all the locally-based players to complete their move tomorrow [Friday]”.
