Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, George Amoako, has disclosed that his outfit are in talks with Ashanti Gold SC of over a proposal to play two-legged friendly matches.
Ghana football for the past weeks has been halted due a documentary carried out by renowned investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
There have not been any competitive matches since June 6, 2018, and the clubs have advanced to play friendly matches.

According to the ace football administrator, a committee will be formed today in Kumasi to see to it that successful two-legged friendly matches dated 9th and 16th September are organized.
”After the two friendlies against Hearts of Oak, plans are advanced for regional rivals Asante Kotoko and Ashgold to also play since there is no official football ongoing,” George Amoako told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.
“We have a lot for our supporters after the Hearts friendly, we will engage Ashanti Gold also in a two-legged friendly on the 9th and 16th of September 2018,” he added.
