The Chief Executive officer of the Asante Kotoko George Amoako, says his side will shine in all competition in the absence of ex- Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The veteran football administrator believes the club will continue its sparkling performance despite the former Ghana U-17 trainer’s departure.
Kotoko, are currently without a substantive head coach since last week after Paa Kwesi Fabin quit his role as head coach of the club after 7 months in charge.
“He [Paa Kwesi Fabin] is gone but Asante Kotoko is not dead. Let me urge all the supporters to stay calm because the club will be great and better in his absence” Mr. Amoako told Nhyira FM in Kumasi.
“A good coach who understands the Kotoko philosophy will be appointed in the coming day to occupy the vacant role.
“For now Akpako Patron has been asked to take charge of the first team duties until further notices.”
He however, noted that the Porcupine Warriors latest October 1 2018 will unveil their new coach.
SportsworldGhana.com, understands that former Ashanti Gold SC gaffer Charles Kwablah Akunnor has already agreed personal terms to become the club’s new coach.
