Asante Kotoko forward Dauda Mohammed has confirmed he’s in his Hometown Suhum following a widespread report of the attacker’s imminent move to Anderlecht FC.
The goal Hunter of the Kumasi based football club impasse’s has Left him contemplating about his future at Kotoko at his birth place, Suhum.
Management of Kotoko had apparently told him they’ve finalized on his move to the foreign club but it’s yet to materialize, a reason to which he’s in hometown despite the fact that Kotoko have resumed training ahead of the new season.
Kotoko resumed training last week with the absent of their main striker at Adako jachie. This prompted Operations manager of the club George Kennedy to find the whereabout of the player.
Dauda however contacted by Kumasi based Kessben FM confirmed he is in his hometown Suhum.
Asked about his move to Anderlecht, the Striker stated they are still in the process of completing the move for him to travel abroad.
“I’m in Suhum. We are still in the process of completing the move, that’s why I’m here.
George Kennedy called me, I have seen the missed call. I will call him back and find out why he called” He told Kessben FM.
The Striker looks adamant to rejoin Kotoko as all indications proves he wants to leave for greener pastures but reality is Dauda can only be transferred to Anderlecht, an European club in January when the European transfer window opens.
