Asante Kotoko striker, Sadick Adams is hopeful of his side’s victory over Medeama SC in the Ghana Prtemier League Match Day 21 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors currently look to have found their rythm under new coach Steve Pollack following a bad spell under series of uninspiring performances prior to his appointment.
The Kumasi based club are currently fourth on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) standings with 32 points, just a point below arch rivals Hearts who travel to Bechem to face Bechem united this weekend.
Kotoko’s latest victory came against Hearts in the 2017 President Cup via penalty shootout and the Scorer of the winning kick, Sadick Adams believe that should serve as a motivation going into their league game against Medeama.
Speaking in an interview in the buildup to the game, the former Berekum Chelsea striker said, “It is not going to be easy, is going to be a tough game, yes we won against Hearts of Oak in the President Cup but that is over, the celebration is over”.
“We are now focusing on our game against Medeama, I know they will be coming into the game very strong but I am very sure we will pick the three points on Sunday.”
