Former Black Stars midfield anchor, Kelvin Prince Boateng scored in the Serie B in Italy on Saturday afternoon against Empoli at home.
The former Barcelona player netted his fifth league goal this campaign in AC Monza colours when he scored the equalizer against a strong Empoli team.
Leonardo Mancuso opened the scoring in the first half after just two minutes into the game to unsettle the home team and give the visitors an early advantage as there were no more goals scored in the first half.
The former AC Milan man, Boateng, stepped up to convert a 69th minute penalty kick to make sure the Red and Whites picked valuable points at home from losing position.
The 33-year-old former Ghana International was substituted with fifteen minutes left on the clock as the match ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Boateng has five goals and four assists in 17 matches in the Serie B this season.
