Experienced and versatile Ghanaian playmaker, Kelvin Prince Boateng scored twice for AC Monza in the Italian Serie B on Tuesday evening.
The Ghanaian international scored the game’s opening goal in the 9th minute with a header from the left side of the box into the right bottom corner of the goal post following a pinpoint cross from Giuseppe Bellusci.
Ten minutes later, Boateng scored again with his head inside the six yard box with another powerful header into right top corner to make it 2-0 to the hosts and was assisted by Marco Fossati’s corner kick.
The opening 45 minutes was largely dominated by Monza against a timid Virtus Entella side.
Dany Mota scored the third goal on the 73rd minute with Mario Sampirisi scoring twice in eight minutes to put the game to bed on the 82nd and 90th minute respectively.
Monza won the game by a 5-0 score line move to 8th position on the league log with 20 points from 12 matches.
The 33-year-old has been involved in nine matches in the Italian Serie B this season for the Reds and has four goals and one assist to his name.
