The former Ghana U23 captain is hoping that his side will be able to record a back-to-back victory against Podbeskidzie tonight.
Ghana forward Yaw Yeboah says he and his teammates ‘don’t look back at anyone ahead of their Polish Premier League week23 fixture.
Yeboah’s Krakow Wisła will travel to Bielsko-Białki on Monday to play against newcomers PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa – Podbeskidzie in matchday 23 of the Ekstraklasa.
“Yes, in my opinion we are able to achieve a similar victory to the one we recorded in the first game against this opponent. Wisła Kraków, our team, wants to win in every game. We go out on the pitch to win and that is our goal,” Yaw Yeboah told wisla.krakow.pl ahead of Monday’s game.
”Everyone wants victories: the training staff, players and fans. We must take systematic steps to be as high as possible. And another one awaits us in the match against Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Three points are the most important.
”We worked very hard, both as a team and individually, to prepare ourselves as best as possible for Monday’s match. We practiced many variants in offensive and defensive play – even twice a day. In my opinion, the preparations were very hard, but successful. The most important thing now is to use it on the pitch and collect three points.
Wisła Kraków is currently 13th on the league table with 28 points, while their Monday opponents Podbeskidzie are rocked bottom of the league table with 18 points.
