Former Ghana coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor says the best football administrator he has ever seen or work with is Ghana League Clubs (GHALCA) boss, Kudjoe Fiano.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC gaffer surprisingly snubbed his former boss at Dreams FC and the president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kurt Okraku to name Fiano is his best football administrator.
In an interview with Asempa FM, the former Ashantigold SC coach his former boss at the Miners was and remains the best football administrator.
“I would never forget. I would say this. He [Mr. Fianoo] is the only administrator I have worked with and seen who gives you the free hands to work. It felt like the team was mine. I managed everything including even matchday activities. He made me really feel responsible,” he told Worlanyo.
“Mr. Fianoo gave the team to me. He only called when it was necessary to speak to me. Sometimes when I was going overboard he would call me and draw my attention. I was in control of the team.”
Akonnor left AshantiGold to join Kotoko in 2018 after saving the club from relegation.
He reportedly had an unhealthy relationship with the GFA Capo during his spell as head coach of the Black Stars.
