Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC defender, Godfred Yeboah says the club is in a good shape to clinch the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.
According to the former Porcupine, Kotoko are in pole position to beat rivals Accra Hearts of Oak and clubs like Medeama SC along with Aduana Stars to win the GPL trophy.
Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, he said, “I’m supporting my former club to win the league title.I will be happy if they are able to win the GPL trophy and I’m optimistic they can beat competition from other clubs to win it”.
Yeboah, affectionately called TV3 is arguably one of the most important and industrious left-back in the the club’s history.
Asante Kotoko are currently in Koforidua for their pre-season camping and won their first trial match against Odwinoma FC by a 3-0 score line.
The Porcupine Warriors will play Techiman XI Wonders in their opening game of the 2020-21 campaign.
