Ghana midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has arrived in Sardinia to undergo his mandatory medicals ahead of a proposed move to Cagliari Calcio.
The 32-year-old former Juventus FC player has been without a club since October 2020 after leaving Inter Milan for free.
Asamoah previously played for Italian giants Juventus FC where he won Serie A and Coppa Italia consecutively.
The left-footed Ghanaian begun his career at Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo SC before his move Liberty Professionals FC before his move to Udinese Calcio in Europe.
After excelling at Juventus, the Ghanaian moved to Juventus before he later joined the 2010 Champions League side International Milan in 2018.
Asamoah lasted two years with the Narazzuris and is set to link up with Ghana compatriot Alfred Duncan who joined the club early this winter transfer win.
The Black Stars player is expected to undergo his mandatory medicals tomorrow before signing for Cagliari Calcio.
