The former Juventus midfielder has not played a game for Inter Milan since December last year.
Kwadwo Asamoah – who won the Serie A title six times with Juve- continues to be on the periphery of Antonio Conte’s first team at Inter Milan as the Ghanaian international was unused substitute in Inter Milan’s 2-1 home victory over Sampdoria on Sunday.
The 31-year old who has just 8 league appearances this season has not featured in the last 18 games across all competitions of his club either because he was injured or unused substitute, a situation that has not changed after the Covid-19 break.
Against Napoli manager Conte made five substitutions to his staring line-up and Asamoah was not part of those and this was repeated on Sunday as the former Chelsea boss made four changes but the 6-time Serie A champion was overlooked.
