Ghanaian youngster Kwadwo Asamoah was on target on Saturday night as his side Spartaks Jurmala lost by three goals to two to Riga in the Latvian Higher League.
The in-form winger netted the opener for his side in the 8th minute with a sublime finish before Jean-Baptiste Leo restored parity for the visitors in the 37th minute.
Asamoah was lively and caused problems for Riga on the flanks before against the run of play Raivis Kirss shot Riga ahead with five minutes to recess.
Leinel Wamba pulled even for Spartaks before Felipe Birsola netted what proved to be the winner for Riga in the 61st minute.
