Accra Hearts of Oak forward Kwadwo Obeng Jnr has expressed excitement after being offered a new three-year contract extension by the club.
The striker has signed an improved deal with Hearts of Oak and will stay in the capital until 2023 at the minimum.
“I am hugely delighted to have signed this new deal with the club and, I look forward to staying here for three more years hoping to win with the club both on and off the field”, Obeng Jnr said of his new deal.
“Before first coming here, I set very high standards for myself, and, those ambitions have not changed. The coming season presents me with another opportunity to work towards that goal, and, I will keep working hard to fulfil on that promise”, he added.
Coach Edward Odoom said he is happy that Obeng Jnr has signed a new deal adding that, “We look forward to continuing working with him for the upcoming season”.
The player has looked impressive in the preseason campaign, and, he will be expected to play an important role for the club next season as we seek to win the league title.
