Heart of Lions striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr is optimistic about his team’s chances as they prepare to take on Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in a crucial Premier League fixture on Friday, January 31, 2025.
The 21-year-old forward will go up against his former club at the University of Ghana Stadium, aiming to secure a victory over the Phobians. The highly anticipated clash is set to kick off at 19:00 GMT.

“Everything is fine with us here, and Hearts of Oak is a big club that you need to prepare for when getting ready to face them. The match set for Friday, we are prepared to face them, and our preparation has been good so far,” he stated.
He further highlighted the intensity of their training sessions leading up to the match. “The whole of the week, our training has been very intensive, and we are all ready to go and face Hearts of Oak. So whatever will help us to win, we shall do it,” he told the club’s media outlet.
Obeng Jnr previously played a crucial role in Hearts of Oak’s Premier League and FA Cup triumphs. Now, he is determined to use his experience to help Heart of Lions secure a crucial win against his former side.
