Ghanaian international Kwame Poku was on target for Colchester United FC as they clinched an important 2-1 away win against Salford City FC in the English League Two on Saturday afternoon.
Poku, 18, opened the scoring with a solo effort for the visiting team Colchester in the 27th minute before Callum Harriott doubled the lead in the 41st minute mark.
Salford City who were not perturbed after conceding twice, responded quickly with Ashley Hunter pulling one back for the hosts in the 43rd minute, ending the first half 2-1 to the credit of Colchester United.
The Ghanaian forward has so far scored two goals in 26 outings for Colchester United in the 2019/2020 campaign, providing three assists.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Brandon Thomas-Asante was in full action for Salford failed to hit target.
