La Liga : Joseph Aidoo unused sub in Celta Vigo’s 4-0 home spanking against Villareal

Ghana international defender Joseph Aidoo sat out Celta Vigo’s 4-0 home defeat against Villareal on Friday night during Week 18 of the 2020/21 La Liga season.

The Ghanaian started Vigo’s 5-2 Copa del Rey loss to Ibiza on January 5th and manager Eduardo Coudet definitely had to made changes to his team against Villareal and one of those players affected was the 25-year old Aidoo.

The former Inter Allies defenders has been a regular player in the Celta team this season having appeared in 15 games across all competitions.

The team of Aidoo has now dropped to 8th place on the league standings on 23 points and they travel to Real Betis on January 20th in their next game.

Joseph Aidoo is expected to make the starting line up for the Betis trip.
