Asante Kotoko lodged a complaint with the Federation International de Football ( FIFA) regarding the non-payment of the transfer fee of their former talisman Kwame Opoku who joined USM Alger of Algeria.
Opoku has started playing for his new club already but his former club is yet to be paid their money.
And now according to Competition.ze as seen by SportsWorldGhana.com, FIFA has written to the North African club to notify them of the Kotoko complaint.
The Algerian club is expected to file a response immediately to avoid any sanctions by the governing body of global football.
Kotoko are said to have transferred the striker to the Algerian side for a fee of 500 000 Euros which is yet to hit their account.
