Forward Latif Blessing was on target for Los Angeles FC as they narrowly suffered defeat in their away match at San Jose Earthquake in the MLS.
Blessing scored from close range with a right footed effort to break the deadlock of the match on the 23rd minute for the visitors.
Eight minutes later, the hosts were level through an own goal scored by Eduard Atuesta before Chris Wondolowski put the home team 2-1 up heading into the break.
Christian Espinoza made it three to San Jose but Diego Rossi scored a 90th minute goal to reduce LAFC deficit to one as they threw away a one goal lead to lose 2-3 away from home.
