Former Ghana Athletics Association Chairman George Haldane Lutterodt has urged sports minister Isaac Asiamah to emulate the leadership qualities of late Sports minister Baah Wiredu and Rashid Bawa to succeed.
The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua in the Ashanti Region came under barrage of criticisms following his outfit’s inability to fund the trip of the national amateur boxing team and three other Sports disciplines to participate in international competitions which were supposed to serve as qualification to next year’s commonwealth games.
After promising to be a minister for all Sports, many pundits believe he has been slow in the development of sports in the country since his appointment into office.
George Haldane Lutterodt want Asiamah to concentrate on the c=various sporting disciplines and not only football.
“My advice to him is that he should not focus only on football “
“He should learn from what the late Baah Wiredu and Rashid Bawa did and by so doing he will succeed because they were not only for football” he told Starr Sports
