Legon Cities FC, Bashir Hayford has expressed worry after his side’s defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.
The capital-based club hosted the team from Cape Coast at the Accra Sports Stadium for an encounter on matchday 6 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league season today.
The Royals suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs after regulation time.
Speaking in a post-match interview after the game, coach Bashir Hayford said he is very worried particularly by his team’s inability to score goals.
“I am very very worried about the team but not disappointed. I identified the problems when I came in immediately and we have worked on it several times, probably, we need to do more together,” the Legon Cities FC coach said after the defeat.
He added that, “I like the aggression that was shown tonight from the boys but like I said, I am very worried because we can’t play six matches and score just two goals [penalties], this is why I am here and we will keep working on it.”
